This International Harvester Scout was acquired by the seller in late and has since received a repaint in beige along with reupholstered brown leather bucket seats.

Recent work is said to have consisted of replacing the fluids, filters, and spark plugs, as well as cleaning the carburetor and fuel tanks. The seller reportedly repaired dents and addressed corrosion before repainting the truck in its current shade of beige, and the resulting finish is shown up close in the gallery below.

Replacement steel bumpers have been painted black, and additional equipment includes dual chrome side mirrors and aftermarket billet fuel caps. A white removable hardtop with sliding side windows is included in the sale. Manually-locking front hubs are fitted. The rear brakes were adjusted and the emergency brake cables were repaired under current ownership. Reupholstered brown leather bucket seats were installed in place of the factory bench, and the rear bulkhead behind the seats has been removed.

Matching leather trims the shifter boot and sun visors, and a spare bench assembly without upholstery or padding is included in the sale. Electrical wiring repairs were performed during current ownership, though the windshield wipers are inoperative and the AM radio is disconnected.

A wood-rimmed three-spoke Grant steering wheel fronts a black-painted dash. Instrumentation includes a mph speedometer and a five-digit mechanical odometer that reads approximately 56k miles, only a handful of which have been added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown. The ci V8 features a single Holley carburetor topped by an aftermarket air filter housing as well as a stainless steel exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers.

Service under current ownership is said to have included replacement of filters, fluids, and spark plugs, as well as a cleaning of the carburetor and dual fuel tanks and fitment of a new fuel filler neck.

Older green paint is visible in the engine bay. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The transmission and differential fluid has reportedly been changed during current ownership. Corrosion is noted on the underbody, and additional photos are provided in the gallery.
